Therapeutic Supervision
This service is available for therapists, including those in training, and all who engage in any form of skilled listening for any organisation. The aim of therapeutic supervision is to provide clinical support for the therapist/skilled listener. Pearson Psychologies offers supervision which is structured but flexible in its approach, assisting the individual in gaining clarity over cases and caseloads, clarifying their roles and limitations and seeking to control risk within the therapeutic/skilled listening dynamic.
• One-to-one therapeutic supervision whether carried out in person, through Skype or over the phone lasts for 50 minutes per session. Each session occurs at the same day and time at a regular interval as decided by the individual or employer in conjunction with Pearson Psychologies. • Therapeutic supervision carried out via email is based upon the formula of one email equating to one session of supervision. The individual wishing to use this option will put their issues into an email which they will then send to Pearson Psychologies (these emails are treated in the strictest confidence in line with BACP and Counselling Society regulations). Pearson Psychologies will then respond to the various points within that email, returning it to the email address from which it has been sent. • If at any point you feel that you no longer wish to work with Pearson Psychologies, then you can simply withdraw from the process with our best wishes. Pearson Psychologies always wishes you well.
Therapeutic Supervision can be received: • In person (UK: London & Essex) • Over the phone (National & International) • Via ‘Skype’ (National & International) • Via email (National & International)
